However, if you have not chosen to do an electronic account, everything is given to you from USCIS by mail. So, you can change your address with USCIS in two ways. First, you can go online and file what's called an AR-11. It allows you to file it directly online at the USCIS website, and you can actually list all pending petitions that you have. So, make sure if you have a pending work permit and a green card, that you list both of those. If you have a spousal petition like an I-130 pending, you should also list that. So, make sure you list all the applications. Second, you can go old school and print the AR-11 itself, sign it, and mail it. If you have a pending application for a U visa, a T visa, or the Violence Against Women Act pending, you must actually print the AR-11 form that's available on the USCIS website, and you have to mail it to the Vermont Service Center to update your address. They will not update your address through filing online.
